I met Michael Thomas Case in a comment thread where he shared some incredible snippets of a story from his youth. A story in which he nourished a years long friendship with a Wild Boy, or Sasquatch, in the hills and hollows of Southeastern Kentucky. Thomas was terminally ill and had been placed in hospice hi care. Shortly after I befriended him, he posted on his Facebook profile that he was looking for someone to edit his story for him. At the time, I was unaware of the depth of his condition and I asked him to do a "Sasquatch Encounters with Ed Brown" interview for my YouTube channel. He agreed to do it once his voice was better. Then it was a month and a half before I heard from him again. This time what I received was an apology for not being able to talk, and this incredible story which was relayed to me via messenger. The apology, of course, was absolutely not needed. I'm so honored to have the opportunity to bring you this amazing story. Thomas claimed that every word of it was true. My last contact was through his sister on his messenger and she said that he would dictate the rest of the story and draw a couple illustrations and she would get them to me. That was the last time I heard from Michael or anyone from his family. I posted the edited story on his timeline a couple days later and never got a response. I tried to tell this story in his exact words and details, as much as possible through the edit. Michael was a true Southern Gentleman with an infectious country charm. I truly hope that I captured that charm and didn’t anesthetize it through the edit. Keep in mind the circumstances surrounding his telling of this account as he literally lay on his death bed. Once again, thank you Michael Thomas Case for giving me the opportunity to tell your incredible story.

I was excited to read this book b/c I grew up in rural Kentucky and have read lots of books about bigfoot. However this book disappointed me in a few ways. This book totals about 46 pages in large print. It's more like you are purchasing an over-sized brochure. There are no illustrations, maps, pictures or any other reference material. The main issue I have w/ this story is that the author claims the source information was sent to via "messenger". The author of the story never saw the witness in person, viewed the site of said incidents, or even spoke via phone w/ the source. If I am incorrect in my statement here please let me know so I can learn from my mistake. This book is a lot like the Enoch book by Autumn Williams which at first seems like a spectacular event, but then you find out the author of the book never actually even saw the witness in person, surveyed the scene, or obtained any other reference checks. My opinion is that this is more than likely just a made up story that someone came up w/ after reading various bigfoot books. The story itself holds a "sweetness" to it in that if it were true and it really happened to a child it would be a great life experience, however I would say it is simply just that, a story.Product details

The Wild Boy of Kentucky The Amazing SasquatchStory of MichaelThomas Case eBook Dan Lindholm Reviews
I found this book intriguing. I would have liked more documentation . . . Photos of the area, interviews with neighbors/family/friends. Otherwise it seems to fit more as a work of fiction. I found some elements of it implausible.
Great story that I was really enjoying. Was the book never completed? Did the teller die before he could finish sharing his story with the author? I hope there's more to come or maybe my download was interrupted?
This was an amazing book. Beautifully written. I would recommend this to anyone with an interest in Bigfoot!
This was an excellent read and learning tool for anyone that wants to learn how the hairy people or Bigfoot lives in the woods. An excellent read.
Good story but just that....I realize the author had been ill but this was cut so short I thought there was something wrong. No epilogue from the time he was a young man to an older man and what he had learned or realized or even if he ever went back as an adult.
I thoroughly enjoyed Dan's short story. It is fascinating to me particularly because it is a blend of my non-fiction book of Sasquatch encounters and my totally fiction first novel about my idea of what Sasquatch life and culture could be. I often joke that I didn't write my novel, someone else did. I was stopped at 13,000 words of an 80,000 word novel. After struggling to continue, I could not, so I just sat and typed. It was as if someone took over for me. Our Sasquatch?
Dan's book is an insight into the ways of Sasquatch, and their behavior. If you have any interest in Sasquatch at all, read this book. Good job, Dan.
Loved this story.
It's your personal choice to believe or not.
There are many truths, maybe embellishments, but it's a great telling of a boys youth.
Thanks Dan! Great tribute!
